Alexa Deslauriers, LCMHCA, CRC
Growing up, I learned that real connection isn’t built on rigid boundaries or unrealistic expectations. It’s built on two individuals showing up as their true selves. The messy, the imperfect, the misunderstood. I believe real growth happens when we drop the mask.
My approach to therapy is practical, direct, and collaborative. I’m not the kind of therapist who just nods along. I’m here to listen and challenge you to break old patterns. If you're ready to make real changes in your life, we might be a great fit.
Think of therapy as a partnership: you know your story best, and I bring the tools and perspective to help you navigate it. Let’s work together to set goals that actually make sense for your life.
When I am not in session, I enjoy working out, making crafts, and spending time with my dogs, Maverick and Peach.

Why the Golden Collective?
Behind every name is a story.
The true inspiration for The Golden Collective came from two of the purest souls I have ever known- my golden retrievers. I grew up in a two-dog family and knew I wanted dogs of my own as an adult. I have always admired golden retrievers for their sweet temperament and beautiful coat. Little did I know, those two attributes were just scratching the surface of their greatness.
What makes a golden so special anyways? Golden retrievers possess an extraordinary, wholehearted ability to live entirely in the moment. They open their hearts without hesitation and have never met a stranger. They adore any and all human beings with a gentle, indiscriminate warmth that makes you feel deeply seen and valued.
Experiencing that unconditional love has transformed my understanding of what it means to truly show up for others. I realized that this deep, intuitive connection is the very foundation of what care ought to be. I named this company The Golden Collective to honor that standard, combining the open-hearted temperament of these incredible dogs with the literal definition of "golden" as the highest form of care.
My mission is to lead with that same profound empathy, ensuring that all of my clients experience a gold standard of genuine connection, trust, and care.
